College senior Tarell just has to make it to her train on time, yet a sexy housemate, two street vendors and an Ex boyfriend continuously become obstacles in her path. Growth, hate, judgement and a broken heart from familiar faces confront her head on. While feeling comfortable with a familiar Uber driver, that too turns into a conflict between her and the driver when a topic on a podcast show exposes their differences and beliefs all while trying to dodge traffic in route to Tarell's destination.
Hello I am Toya DuBarry (Director) I am seeking Funds on an ambitious Short Film written to captivate audiences and receive notable recognition. I am former student of the Arts and now on the path of becoming a successful filmmaker. I have successfully completed two shorts of my own, worked on numerous productions in the entertainment industry and indie productions. I was able to network pretty well especially in Los Angeles working under the tutelage of accomplished Entertainers and icons through outlets of working at CBS in Studio City Los Angeles and the privilege to assist two notable women of color in the black Hollywood industry. I am currently based in the Pocono Mountains of Pa but I honed my skills for the craft at the prestigious Art Institute of New York (N.Y. N.Y.) & the Los Angels Campus in Santa Monica California. This project is not only a professional endeavor but also will give other aspiring film makers in the various departments of it to have their work credited within the project. The film will be crafted with the utmost professionalism and is intended for submission to multiple film festivals, providing participants with exposure to the industry and potential recognition for their contributions.

I and my affiliates are seeking funding to support the production, post production, marketing, and distribution of our short film. The funds will be utilized for high-quality production, strategic promotion, and securing placements on renowned film festivals and streaming platforms.

Terms for Funding:
Donors/sponsors - $5.00 - $499.00 with no monetary return but exclusive screening VIP attendance and film credit.
Producers - $500.00 + will receive producer credit, film festival ticket.
Investors - $5,000.00 + will receive Executive Producer credit along with a agreed upon percentage of any monetary rewards received or awarded. Investors may also benefit from potential deals made to further distribute the Short on streaming platforms. Film festival ticket.
Full Investment for overall production Cost can be discussed under agreed upon terms by the writer and counsel.
